Welcome to Fourth Street

Well here it is the first of I am sure many posts to the fun things at Fourth Street! Let me introduce what will be found here on Fourth Street.
This past year I was diagnosed with Fibromaylgia, and was faced with a job loss because of the huge flare up I had and the time missed at work because of it. But I am a true believer that all things happen for a purpose and things will work out and well they do. I am learning my own pace and getting my health in order. While doing so I started to sew more and more, a hobby I just haven't had time for in well a long time! Sew gave me a sense of accomplishment and I starting making fun things for friends. Thing evolved and I will re launching my ETSY site and selling all sorts of fun stuff when and I can and where I can so be sure to come back often to see what I have been up to!
You will be sure to find some of my C.A.D.D Aprons (Cleaning Attention Deficit Disorder) Aprons, some fun multi function half aprons with great pockets that remind you that "You are on a mission" when you have it on! Try one and you will see!

Then to soothe your soul after a long days work, I have been making all sorts of Rice heating pads infused with lavender. I make then heavy which holds more warmth but the weight is also soothing! I am seeking inspiration from aching souls so tell me where it hurts and I can make just the right thing! Inspired by a friends hurt hand I made a hand therapy bag, taking the rice bucket of Physical Therapy one step further by making it warm and soft. These pocket like creations allow you to surround your hand in the soothing warm rice! Great for sore aching hands!

I am also working on reusable fabric gift bags! We all recycle those paper gift bags so I took the idea a step farther making some beautiful fabric and ribbon bags that will compliment any occasion and will be talk of the party!

So welcome my friends I hope you find things you will love to use and to share!
